Ofaolain
Luxury leather goods brand identity
Ofaolain is a leather goods brand whose name derives from the Irish word for wolf. When the founder approached me to redesign the identity, the goal was to create a mark that felt both elegant and untamed—a reflection of the brand’s handcrafted luxury and the primal symbolism of the wolf itself.
The resulting identity draws from several sources: the founder’s family crest, the constellation Lupus, and the mythology surrounding the wolf as a creature of shadow and moonlight. Together these influences shaped a visual language rooted in contrast—refined yet wild, minimal yet symbolic.
A deep midnight palette paired with a restrained red accent evokes the quiet intensity of night. Geometric line work referencing constellations forms the basis of the wolf mark, creating a symbol that feels both ancient and modern.
The final system extends across logo marks, collateral, digital applications, and brand materials—giving the Ofaolain identity a cohesive presence worthy of the craftsmanship behind each piece.

The broader visual system expands on the celestial inspiration behind the logo. Constellation patterns, lunar references, and minimal geometric motifs create a cohesive visual language that supports the identity without overpowering it.
The palette centers on deep midnight blue paired with restrained red accents—colors chosen to evoke moonlit landscapes and the quiet intensity of night. Supporting neutrals and subtle textures reinforce the brand’s sense of craftsmanship and atmosphere.
Logo & Identity Development
The redesigned mark blends geometric precision with mythic symbolism. Drawing inspiration from the constellation Lupus, the wolf is constructed through intersecting lines that echo the structure of star maps while maintaining the sharp elegance expected of a luxury brand.
A secondary monogram provides a refined typographic mark for subtle applications, while the full wordmark balances classic letterforms with modern spacing. Together these elements create a flexible identity system capable of scaling across products, packaging, and digital environments.
Collateral & Marketing Materials
To demonstrate the flexibility of the identity, the brand system was applied across a range of materials including stationery, marketing collateral, digital mockups, and product branding.
Each application maintains the balance between luxury minimalism and symbolic storytelling, allowing the wolf mark to function as both a signature emblem and a narrative device throughout the brand experience.
